Dedicated resident engineer and technical interface for all Wabash National Business units
Responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining technical activities of Truck-Lite & Road Ready product line via daily activity with Wabash National, including 20+ business unit locations.
Support and drive LCM and NPI initiatives within Wabash National
Coordinates activities and OEMSM and Market Director.
Participates on cross-functional teams for planning, developing, and launching new products at WNC
Coordinate and lead continuous improvement and VA/VE activities at Wabash National locations
Analyze and provide technical input on product designs, performance, compliance, manufacturability, and/or quality for WNC applications.
Coordinate activities for the quotation, design, development of a product launches with Wabash National
Assure projects are completed on time, to budget, to meet customer expectations.
Coordinate and lead dealer sales training seminars, open houses, and product training seminars for Wabash National outside sales.
Evaluate and resolve manufacturing and performance issues with manufacturing and quality departments to reduce potential NCRs and field issues
Completes electronic reporting and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner including Salesforce contacts Concur expense forms, Engineering work request, quote forms etc. Controls expenses and keeps company equipment in clean working condition. Reports any problems to your supervisor oa appropriate department personnel. Looks for ways to increase productivity and available resources.

Travel is required.
BS degree in Engineering.
Preferred candidates will have experience with ERP business management software packages (ie: JD Edwards and/or AS400) and be proficient Microsoft Office products. The successful candidate should have strong problem solving, communications, organization, and project time-line management skills. 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience within the heavy-duty and final mile markets is preferred. Requires 4 years of college of equivalent.
